Surprise mini front and my first time in the waves with the wing, other than once testing a board for just a few minutes. Just waist high waves but smooth and long. I have not figured out wave riding or jibing, but I remembered how to foil and my hands stayed warm. I started learning how to use the wave to get up on the foil. Even though I'm not skilled with my gear, I feel very familiar and comfortable at this launch, so I appreciated that the comfort allowed me to be in a learning mode instead of worrying. The wind shut down sooner than I was ready to stop! Pizza buffet with the family afterward.
