The definition of gusty. Water was cold too.
In the mornings video analysis we were comparing aerials and my take away was to lift or suck up the back foot. First 2 waves of the day I followed the instructions and did a couple of nice little aerials. I'm continuously astounded at how much there is to learn in this sport, and how massive a difference just relatively small changes make.
My goal for the week was to work on my push loops. I have tried them historically but don't think I ever landed one clean. The first day was perfect for trying them. I tried maybe 10 using Bens one handed technique from YouTube. After watching my attempts and crashes Ben recommended I try them with both hands! I over rotated a couple of attempts after that. Since then it has been epic for wave riding but not so great for jumping. Today is the last day of the clinic. It's supposed to very windy and side shore so perfect for trying them. Will see!!! :)
