The wave today was gorgeous, long, and clean, but tricky to get to. I got lucky and made it though a big shadowy shore break to the windy outside and just stayed on the outside. But something felt ominously too quiet, and the odd feeling kept increasing, I cut the session about 15 minutes short. Lightning flashed just as I stepped off the board. Maybe that was it. |
