Incredible lake day! True to Lake Travis, it was really 0 to 28, but it would fill in nicely every once in a while. The water was a bit cold, the sunny weather made up for it though. One guy went without any wetsuit. He lasted about 30 minutes. The island was nice because I used it to practice fast tacks without having to be all the way in the water when I fell. It was shallow and sandy. I got a few and felt close on most of them. I need to learn how to exit out when I am backwinded, which happened a few times. |
