We arrived and set up camp. It was so frickin' hot! The reason for this was that there was NO wind. And when I say No wind I mean No wind. In fact, come to find out, the wind was "blowing" from the opposite direction than usual right before we got there. We head to the sailing site to check out where we'll be spending the next three days and WOW there are actually about 10 people on the water despite the lack of wind doing light wind freestyle!! We finally decide to rig up and join in. It was so much fun, mostly because you were surrounded by people trying fun things on a light wind day. Rio Vista actually is quite ideal for such fun because the current is at times opposite the wind which allows you to stay upwind despite a lack of planing. I did a new thing based on watching other people. I did a pivot jybe staying clue first and then jybed back around without ever flipping the sail. I tried to end the day Alissa style with a SB360 and to my amazement I almost pulled it off. It was a great day despite a lack of wind!
