After going first to Doug's Beach and watching Brian on a 2.9m2 fully powered, I looked for a LESS windy location for the first time in my life. Mike and I drove to Maryhill. It was really nice, until I fell on top of my sail and put my harness through the sail. I was bummed. Mike wanted me to ask someone for duct tape. I was bummed and wanted to repair it right. Fortunately, he told me his experience wave sailing at Davenport. It gave me some perspective, and we actually found some pretty good tape from someone. I sailed some more and had a good time. Mike's ear is really hurting him. I feel really bad for him. I know what it is like to get hurt on vacation windsurfing. It sucks big time. Brian and Laura showed up later from Doug's Beach, but the wind started to shut down. Stephan and Karl stayed at Doug's. Stefan sailed the 2.9m2. They had gusts to 50 mph @ 5pm. Insane. Forecast is similar for tomorrow.
