First session was light wind freestyling. I used the smaller board today which forced me to be a bit more purposeful in my movements. I got a few helitacks. I flew around the board on a SB360 attempt, unfortunately on my knees. I could really feel the pushtack, but didn't sail out of any. Second session took the 5.2 and was able to plane a bit. Tried a monkey duck and felt like I was really close. Tried a few jump jibes. Only cleared the fin on one of them but couldn't stay on top of the board. Fell in and waterstarted clue first. All in all it was a fun day! |
