Awesome day!!! I had to work and I was bumming, although it was wet and very cool in the morning. The wind only appeared to be so-so too. I saw I had a gap in my afternoon schedule, so I rescheduled two folks to make it big enough to get to the lake by noon. The best lunch break ever! I did not want to leave. Driving in, I was not sure what to expect. Flags were only barely flying. But when I got to the point, I was stoked. I was the second person on the water. He was much smaller and rigged a 4.5m2 and was flying on his Gorge board. Air was cool, but the water was toasty. Pseudo-swell could be found too. At times I was overpowered and the 5.3m2 would have been the call, but the new 5.7m2 was awesome. I got one of my biggest jumps ever today, and ripped a planing gybe on the backside of a pseudo-swell. I am so glad things worked out....
