Another day, another session! Went to Richie and Therese's for their wedding party and as always had a great time out there. Didn't go expecting to sail due to the forecast, but the wind completely filled in, the showers un-scattered, and those of us windsurfers rigged up to fully planing conditions. I actually was right on today--seemed to be making most everything I tried, which is unusual (but good due to high jellyfish concentrations). Had a breakthrough on the shove-it...I kinda sorta made one but it was the most mild, sissy one ever....I was actually changing my mind about the wave but had already caught some air, and in the process of bailing I landed it. So I'm not claiming it, but I think I felt the proper motion. Just need to translate that into the more aggressive variety I have been trying.`

Later Lawrence took me sailing--first time getting out on the trap since my high school racing days (it wasn't allowed in collegiate). But of course this was a lot faster, being a catamaran, which I'd never sailed before. I'd forgotten how much fun sailing can be. I had the best time.
