These will be short entries....

Happy to be here!! Beautiful scenery, incredible temperatures, and wind!

I sailed powered up on 5.3 Legend/110 RRD FSW. Planing gybes are pretty easy here. Avoiding people on the water, well that is another thing. No close calls yet for me thankfully.

I decided to try my duck gybes on the smoother outside, with lots of power and speed, and a gentler radius. I was having difficulty. Did one really wound up, looked back at the tail of the boom during the transition, and BAM smacked into the boom on top of my board. Felt like I got punched hard in the jaw. I just surfaced saying to myself I hope it is not a blow out fracture. Thankfully, just a hemotoma and nice black eye in a few days. Hopefully, it will be gone by the time I go back to work next week. The patients should love it.

Still going strong. Can't wait for tomorrow.
