and this day was not even forcasted to happen... eastern sites started lighting up at 20 in the afternoon with the sun so I headed to dougs. thought about the 6.5 but decided to be optimistic. so the wind wasn't the biggest but it was a smooth thermal and the swell wasn't the biggest but it was there. and I was just comfortably powered the entire 3 hour session easily my longest of the year. had to walk back on the or side a bit again. the water is so low and I refuse to go into the ankle deep shallows like others so my reaches are short. and I don't tack. so..... but fun fun fun fun. really really fun. packing up somebody was complaining about the new hpl boom pins popping. so mark your not alone there either!
