First time to The Wall. When I got there folks had been on 3s for hours, but the wind was really down. I reluctantly rigged the 4.5 in the hopes it would come up again. It was balanced from the previous day at Doug's so.... Eventually a cloud cleared out and the sun came back. Wind and swell all over the place. Seriously the smoothest, longest (but maybe not biggest) swell I've seen. Second session I was waaaay downwind milking the swell and the wind quit. Slogged to the WA side (next to The Wall :-) and decided to wait it out while the scenery zoomed past (swift current just below the dam). Eventually came nicely back to the launch and swam around the rock island and took out. Right afterwards, the wind/sun came back (of course) but maybe a bit too flukey for me on a 4.5 so called it quits. A very very good day.
