Still high from yesterday, and a 15mph forecast out of the North, I was hoping to get a decent session in. When I arrived, I saw B & L sitting on the beach. Then they packed up. I knew it was not going to be good.

Shifty winds from the East. Lake Travis is never good from the East in my experience. I did spend a little bonding time with my new board and stubby fin. I am grateful for that.

A smaller sailor with a big Naish Boxer sail and a 95 liter RRD was amazingly efficient and making a lot out of nothing. I only took solace that I could hit the shifts and stay upwind of him (shlogging).

I decided to cut my losses early.
