I finished my case early so I made a run to BIB. 4 hour drive, 4 hour sail, 4 hour drive. Glad I did it. Gusty with holes, but warm and eventually sunny. Board was working well. Dakine Contours are sooo much more comfortable (and safer) for my feet. Tried several vulcan attempts. I am sure they just looked like kook crashes. One I got the nose in the water, that felt cool. Randy was nice enough to point out at the end of the day that I sabotage them by sheeting out and backwinding the sail. That advice alone was worth the trip!

I wore a wetsuit, but I was roasting. I could not believe how warm the water was! Next time boardshorts and exotop.
