Oh  BOY i'm tired. It was rough out there. I sailed until my arms were too tired for even one more run, but then I did another run, and another run, and probably a whole other hour more of runs after that. It got to the point where the rig was just blowing out of my hands and I was getting worked in the shore break, because I didnt have the energy to get up quickly. Plus down by the water level on the inside it was actually a little light and harder to water start. Once my rig did this weird thing where the mast tip stuck down into the sand, with the board and everything balanced in the air above me. I just waited to see what would happen, glad to have a helmet on. Some of those big outside sets made up for the rough inside, though. I sailed mostly overpowered until the end, when it got more manageable. I had been the first one there in the a.m. and was not sure what to rig, but I do have to say I was happy with the 4.2. Better overpowered than under, and I was not about to rerig. Wish  I could have hung in another hour, but my arms are not in that kind of shape at the moment.
