I think I was expecting nothing, so when there was actually 42% planing, it made my day!  So, so nice to be out of the rubber. 

Vulcan "attempts" - had two really nice feeling, highish, flat water pops...so I started thinking about moving my hand, but was never quite powered enough after the thinking.

Monkey ducks - I am finishing the move with the board still pointed downwind. Brian said all I may need to do is push on my back foot to get the board to go round. Can't wait to try that!
