Mark's WindLog for Sunday May 17, 2009

35th session in 2009
Sailed at Punta San Carlos
Rated a 10 of 10

Board: RRD 120 FSW
Sail: 6.3 Ezzy Wave Panther
Suit: O'Neill 3/2 Psycho 2

Brian broke the ice and sailed before lunch on the biggest board I have ever seen him ride. The wind was very light, but he caught a few waves.

Then after lunch we finally went out. I took Brian's board from the morning. It was comfortable and floaty, but the fin was a seaweed magnet. It became painfully obvious I am the worst one here, and I have no clue how to catch a wave. I catch one for every 20 everyone else gets. Once on the wave, I feel very comfortable, but I have yet to learn really what to do. It is a lot of fun.

Everyone is super nice. Drank several Baja Fogs along with an assortment of other alcoholic beverages. Slept well.
