Well, I was excited to be outside, with friends, see the sun, and windsurf! But once the front arrived, it was cloudy, very up/down, and increasingly cooler.

Brian thought the font would arrive early, and it did. He said it would ramp up slow, and it definitely didn't. It was all over the place right from the beginning. I am glad I rigged "too small", but it did not seem small enough in the gusts. Nice starboard jumps were to be had in the channel, but because I had too big of a board, they got uncomfortable quick. The wind was NE, and not N, so it was very inconsistent. I thought the wind would clock around to the North and become more steady, but it did not and stayed NE. I probably should have rigged a 5.9m2 S-1 with my RRD 110 FSW in retrospect, but I stuck it out with the Quatro 140 and my 6.3 S-1 that I rigged initially. This made a safe return easy. My feet and hands did eventually became numb (but not painful). I tried a few vulcans, and one I rotated without the board which was pretty funny. I had no idea my feet were not wedged in the straps since they had no feeling. Also when I finally called it a day, I could not talk well since my lower lip was numb. That was weird. I was surprised it took the whole drive home before I had feeling in my feet.

It was nice to sail with Mike and B&L again. I just wished the conditions were a little more stable.
