Wow, we have not had a wave day in a while. My gear was rusty as was I, a little bit. Packed in a rush and should have been on a smaller board and sail, but i had not brought them. My mast plate had seized up and I had no wd-40 so Jerry saved my session by letting me borrow one. Got hit by a surprise breaker after botching an outside tack and lost my gear for a while. Direction and power were great. Scattered weeds became moderately annoying but with getting so much air, they cleared frequently enough.

Beach sand VERY soft. Water and air temps perfect. This will likely be the last after-work wave sesh in a rash gard all year. Within days it will be colder and darker. So I enjoyed the sunset sesh while it lasted.
