One day trip down to CC for hopefully classic BIB conditions (anniversary present). NOT SO FAST MY FRIEND! Oh well, it was a beautiful day. Boardshorts in late November. Wind was puffy, with very short but strong on/off puffs. Freeriders were digging it. I saw Stephan on a Roberts, and Tom testing freeride gear for Windsport. Mike and Noel were there with their growing families. Noel was planing easily on his 6.1, and I saw him land a perfect port vulcan (his weaker tack). I struggled to plane most of the time, until @ 3pm, when it picked up for little bit. Mike was sailing a cleaner spot by the island working on spocks. Only a few V attempts for me today. Lot of tips from people. I did do several DW360s on the new board and my fast tacks are getting better. I saw Brendan pump like mad and barely plane and pull off a vulcan. Impressive. Only have seen Brian do that. Missed B&L. I think they would have had fun today.
