I actually rate the wind after 2:30p a 9+. Before then, it was all over the place. I ran out of juice too early. I have been really burning the candle from both ends, and almost fell asleep at the wheel on the drive down. I had to call it early if I was going to drive home safely and work the next morning.

I was really surprised to be wearing boardshorts this early in the year.

I have decided that my vulcan attempts are really not vulcan attempts. They are just a unique way to stop suddenly from a full plane, much like a hockey player stop with his skates. Plane, jump, turn 90 degrees, stop (crash). Staying hooked in just adds to the drama and fun.
