ABK Day Three

Morning lecture was Shove-it. Andy told me I should rig 5.9 again. I decided to go 5.3. Good call by me. I was not sure where Andy was, so I worked with Brendon in morning on my Vulcan attempts. Still not getting any better, getting really discouraged. I did try a few decent shove-it tries, but never really committed fully. I did follow Andy briefly before lunch and got some air, but it was more of a mule-kick.

Sailed super-powered during lunch. That was fun! Saw Eric doing pretty well.

Loop lecture in afternoon. Rigged down to 4.7m2 for the afternoon. Was good for a while, but then it started to get serious holes during the afternoon session when instruction/video began. Did a number of dumb non-planing pivot gybe wipe-outs. Not sure this is going to help me loop, but what else am I going to do non-planing (LWF??).

Jellies were bad. Andy swallowed one and almost died. Ok it was just water, but he does not have gills, and lost his breath for a few seconds. He got stung a lot.
