So, I'm stretching it to call this a session, but anyways....

Went back to the windfest even though there is hardly a breath of wind today. They were demoing SUP, but I passed on that. Wyatt was running a little late, so I believe his name was Aaron, who seemed to be associated with Brian's windsurfing lessons, did a free for all Q and A using a simulator. Basically he went through all the beginning freestyle moves, such as fast tacks, helitacks, lay down jibes, UW360s, DW360s, ducks, loops...then when no one was coming up with any other moves, he asked if anyone wanted to come up and try a move on the simulator. So, I got to walk through a DW360 using the simulator with him as the wind. He recommended not putting my front foot in front of the mast, but rather just behind the universal.   He also said to really throw the rig forward at the end. He also stressed looking where I wanted to go. Can't wait to try them again. No wind tomorrow either though. So, I would HIGHLY recommend coming to the Windfest if you ever have the opportunity. It's FREE unless you demo which is 10 dollars for the day.
