Sailed at Hatchery, WA
Wind from the W (mph)
Board: '09 RRD WaveTwin 82
Sail: '09 NP Firefly 4.5
Another unforecast day results in no crowds at the Hatch. Really nice, perfectly powered, mellow, fun day on the water. I'm a huge fan of this board. It can even pull women from Maui who have broken masts back to shore as they hold onto its back footstrap. I'm also thinking that it's possible that this board is easier to spock than the JP 90 Freestyle.
Picked up a 3.7 replacement, so no more silly popping the sail from one tack to the other. Laura says the 3.3 isn't as bad as far as popping so we don't need to replace it.
Congrats to Bill, who made Windsurfing Magazine's Hot Shots section in the July issue!
