The wind was blasting 30mph when I first pulled up to the point this morning. Initially, I was worried I did not bring a small enough sail today. I should not have worried since the wind backed down 20 minutes later. I rigged my 5.3m2, but that was really a bit optimistic. It was fine in the strong gusts, but there were lot of large holes today. I had to really work hard to get going most of the time. Sadly, I am getting worse on my vulcan attempts (even with the smaller sail), not better. I am lost.

On a positive note, I was so impressed by Steve M.'s kids today. The toughness and stamina they showed was very inspirational. They are very good little windsurfers!
