It was my first time launching from the Riviera, and on a downwinder to Cole Park I got to try the place I pass at least once a day in my car and have always wanted to sail--Doddridge Park. The upwind part of the park is this neat little wave setup, and downwind is crazy voodoo chop. I have to say that both were fun, but in the crazy chop I had this huge smile and enjoyed myself even more just because it was so different. The challenge was fun! It felt like skiing moguls. Then a few runs at Cole Park, but I guess I had rigged for the wind shadow @ the Riv b/c I was overpowered at CP. Juan met me at the end with a shiner black.
