Session #2

New venue that SA Bob talked to me about a few months ago. Mike, Tamay, Bob and I sailed off the Holiday Inn bayfront beach. Nice place to sail. I was sure the wind was finally going to kick in, so I rigged my 5.3m2 S1 with my Quad.

I slogged 75% of the time (mostly trying to stay upwind). The others seemed to be plenty powered and having fun. I hate having to work so hard to get going. When I was powered, it was really nice. I got a really big air off a steep piece of chop near the outside jetty, and had some really fun swell face carves on the inside. I was spoiled by the constant power I had last night and should have upsized my rig. I eventually had too much sun, and was disappointed it did not go off like I had hoped. So, off to B Js. A philly and two cold draught Rogue Yellow Snow Ales, and all was right with the world again.
