One of the hardest but most fun days in a long time. It was light on the inside and overpowering on the outside, and very big for port aransas. On the outside dolphins were going completely airborne coming out of  the tops of these overhead waves, which was spectacular but also scary once when two of them were jumping toward me from above. It turned out there was no need to worry, those guys know what they're doing, so I just enjoyed the show. I spent lots of time unhooked on the rides out and a couple long stretches in the water when my arms started giving out, but it was well worth it for the big outside rides. I was exhausted after two runs but kept telling myself, just one more. Then just one more. I finally had to stop after an hour when my hands would no longer grip onto the rig.
