I took the boys to BIB to get a little windsurfing practice in this year. WW kids camp is no longer on the weekends, so this was not an option this year. Too bad, but I cannot afford miss too much work. E. has had his growth spurt, so he can ride my gear. I set him up with the 5.0, and he did very well with it. Both boys were tacking right away. O. needed to be reminded to get further back and power up the sail more. O. did remember how to gybe (technically), but E. did not. E. was almost planing, but not in the straps. Overall, I was impressed, since it had been a whole year since they both had last sailed. E. has almost a short board tack. Credit to Angela. We broke things into a morning and afternoon session since it was HOT. B&Js Pizza after was still a big hit.
