Yes! The wind kicked in, and it was awesome. I saw Andy Brandt in the morning, and I tried to give him a planing high five while he was in the water. Sadly, no progress on moves today, but I had a lot of fun. Sailing with the pros can get a little intimidating, but you only live once. Owen had a good day too despite the stronger wind. I gave him the GoPro on the Flymount in the afternoon. I had my best C360s and Vulcan attempts off camera, go figure. Oh well, it felt great to easily plane again. I was in a dark place, feeling like I was too big or unskilled to windsurf anymore. Star Watch: at the end of each day Owen and I drive to the fishing boat pier and watch the good guys show off. Today, it was more crowded than usual. Music pumped from parked cars and a crowd. We saw Kiri and a line of people watching the sailors. They were mainly watching Dieter Van Eyken and Antony Ruenes battle. We learned later on FB that it was an impromptu contest for best trick, $100 for the winner.
