ABK Day #3

I knew this was going to be the day for wind. Brian and Mike drove down as well. After breakfast with B&L, I told Andy I was going to take it easy on the LWF for the morning session. Kaino/Kono Lecture

I saved myself for finally getting to show Andy my Vulcan attempt progress this afternoon. We had Brendon's Flaka lecture. While he is very passionate about the move, the details of this lecture have changed my mind about trying one. It sounds way too complicated and the level of "commitment" required is too high for me now to start.

The wind did not really fill in until 3:30p after which it started to blow 20-30mph. Most folks were on larger sails when it kicked in, and quickly got overpowered. Andy, sent our group to the opposite area for video, but it backed off as usual. No video of my vulcan attempts again. I was also frustrated that the tips were not helping me progress. I guess I have hit my ceiling. I may need to rethink things. Forecast for tomorrow looks early, but not reliable.
