Well, I sailed 105 and cloudy on New Years Eve, but that was with mitts. I do have plenty of insulation. I signed up for the TSWF in Dallas that was for today, and it was looking like low 50s air temps most of the day with upper 50s water temps. Sunday looked even colder (40s) in the morning. The idea of standing around between races made me reconsider it. I was thinking about a drive down to sail Port A. in the morning, but Mike and Josh were not going. Lake Travis forecast was teens to low 20's depending on the source, so I did not know what to expect. I thought it looked best in the morning, so I drove to Windy Point @ 9:45a and rigged up. Nobody on the water or rigging up again. What the heck? Solo windsurfing was very good until about noon. Josh came out briefly before an accidental nose ding took him off the water. The wind started to back off shortly after and I decided to call it a day. On shore, Josh said everyone was on their way. I was skeptical it would come back up, but it did. A second session followed until I ran out of energy. It was cranking when I left @ 3:30p. 'Never leave wind to find wind'
