11!!!!!! The best south day I've had in 3 years. So steady and strong without being too much. I spent the first 45 minutes on my favorite outside break just off the jetty tip and had sooo much fun. I caught some great over head waves and also practiced back side riding with very few consequences. Got to see a decent sized sea turtle sleeping on the surface with two triple tail hanging out under it. But Lawrence and Mark were sailing inside, and they know their stuff, so I eventually joined them and had a ton of fun there, too. More surfer and kiter traffic there, but plenty of waves to go around. Also had a second mini sesh on the inside break because I just couldn't leave. Sufi Kebob afterward.

Juan and the girls and my mom came and had a great time looking at turtles. This was my mom's first few hours as a Texas resident. I'd call it well spent.
